Dr. Ganesh Chandra Shrotriya

Introducing Dr. Ganesh Chander Shrotriya, an accomplished agronomist and esteemed mentor at ARDEA Foundation.
With an impressive academic background, including an M.Sc. in Agriculture and a Ph.D. in Agronomy, Dr. Shrotriya has over five decades of vast experience in agriculture and rural development, offering his rich expertise while contributing to the foundation’s environmental initiatives and strategies.
He has served in various capacities within esteemed organizations such as the Department of Agriculture-Government of Rajasthan, Hindustan Copper Limited, Chad Basin Development Authority, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), and Potash Promotion Project (Project of International Potash Company, Moscow), among others.
A Fellow of the Indian Society of Agronomy, his extensive experience spans content planning, establishing and maintaining content management systems, developing liaisons and linkages for content sourcing, monitoring content dissemination, and evaluating the content function of organizations.
As an established communicator, Dr. Shrotriya has utilized various ICT tools, including radio, TV, films, print media, and interpersonal communication, to disseminate valuable information to rural communities.
With an extensive portfolio of published papers, articles, documentaries, and edited books, he is actively involved in national and international training programs, seminars, conferences, and workshops.
