Day 1: Clean & Heal
The quote by the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama highlights the importance of cleanliness and how accessibility to a clean environment is not a privilege but a fundamental right of every individual.
As we embark on the journey to restore and heal Mother Earth with our ecological movement “11 Days For Earth’s Healing“, it is also a time for us to sit back and contemplate how our actions are slowly pushing the entire world towards a doomsday.
And in this crusade, the first day of our initiative is about ‘Clean & Heal,’ and decluttering is the best chance we have to begin with when it comes to combating climate change.
More often than not, unwanted items take up a lot of space in our houses or workstations, eventually putting more burden on nature than we realize. Unfortunately, these overlooked items can serve as potential breeding grounds for bacteria, insects, and worms while accumulating dust. Hence, discarding all the unnecessary objects that are no longer required becomes extremely important.
“Clean & Heal” doesn’t mean springing into action on the 1st of May every year to declutter; it means doing this bit by bit, every day, at your home, neighborhood, and surroundings as a responsible citizen, eventually doing your part in reducing carbon footprint and ensuring a greener and much cleaner tomorrow.
As children of Mother Earth, Day 1 ‘Clean & Heal’ presents one of the best ways to protect the earth while opening the doors to more ways to save mother earth through our mega movement that will last for “11 Days”.
