Riaz Ali
Doctoral Research Fellow
Introducing Mr. Riaz Ali, a dedicated researcher who pursued his Doctoral degree on the prestigious TWAS Fellowship at the High-Performance Computing Research Center, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Riaz Ali currently holds the position of Data Reporting Analyst at the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
With a focus on Data Mining in Meteorology, Riaz’s research endeavors contribute to advancing our understanding of weather patterns and forecasting.
His work significantly improves our ability to analyze and interpret weather data, leading to more accurate predictions and informed decision-making.
Riaz is driven to work in a highly competitive and research-oriented environment and looks forward to extending his research knowledge in the field of climate change. With a major in data mining in meteorology, he focuses on quantitatively forecasting rainfall induced by landfalling and offshore tropical cyclones.
His research aims to avoid deadly and destructive disasters while predicting the widespread heavy rainfall and severe flooding induced by tropical cyclones. However, his broader area of interest includes spatiotemporal characteristics of TC-induced rainfall, climate change, and data science.
His research work is commendable and holds significance in accurately understanding weather patterns and meteorological predictions.
